You’ll Be Amazed at What You Can Accomplish in 48 Hours

Over 48 hours, you will meet with museum directors from all around the country. You are going to learn what is working for them and what isn't, and they’ll be looking for you to share the same. Beginning the moment you step off of the plane, you will meet new colleagues, make new friends, and get to know the senior people behind the products and services that make your museum run optimally.

A Custom Agenda Based on Your Needs

The Museum Summit team reviews your application to understand more about you, your insitution, and how we can support your initiatives. Based upon your application and a selection process that is driven by you, we develop a custom agenda that introduces you to the people you want to meet and who are interested in meeting with you. You will spend two days in interactive and topical meetings, meals and social functions. And as a result, you are going to learn more in 48 hours than you ever thought was possible!

What’s The Catch?

There is none. You are going to meet with others who do what you do and who can help you. You will meet with suppliers and fellow museum leaders. Best of all: you will do this in a way that meets your needs, at no cost to you or your museum.
 

That’s it – plain and simple.
 

To be eligible, you must direct or manage a museum with an annual attendance of 30,000 visitors
or higher. Your title should be Museum Director, Assistant Director, President  or other in a leadership role. The museum must occupy a physical space/building. Most important, you should have
decision-making authority or specific input into the products and services your museum purchases. You should also have challenges that you’re interested in sharing, a willingness to help others and a desire to learn about products or services that can help you in the next 6 to 18 months.
